Plum HS Softball Players take 1st Place
The Plum High School softball players took 1st place in the Fall Finale
Tournament in Mt. Pleasant on October 19.
The team went undefeated to win the championship against Franklin Regional. The team beat Mt. Pleasant, Connellsville, Yough, and Franklin Regional.
The team consisted of Maddi Butler (Pitcher), Kelly Carragino (Pitcher), Alexis DeShong (Outfield), Hunter DeShong (Catcher), Nicci Guido (Short Stop), Sami Heinzl (2nd/Outfield), Taylor Johns (Pitcher/3rd), Courtney Keene (Outfield), Kristy Lagnese (2nd/Outfield), Katie Lazar (1st), Rachel Lee (3rd), Bailey Rings (Outfield), and Breanne Rings (Outfield/Short Stop).
MVPs were Maddi Butler, Kelly Carragino, Hunter DeShong, and Taylor Johns.

The tournament raised money for the Red Cross, and was done in memory of a Connellsville High School softball player who was killed in a car accident.
