All coaches for the Plum High School softball program will:

1. Attend all practices and games unless there is a conflict, and will inform the team when a conflict exists.
2. Arrive to practices and games early enough to be completely prepared when they are scheduled to begin.
3. Always supervise the team during practices, and make sure conditions are safe for everyone whose involved.
4. Prepare the team to compete to the best of their abilities, and will make decisions based solely on what is best for the team.
5. Remain positive, treat players respectfully, and will criticize only with the goal of improving the individual and the team.
6. Motivate the team to work hard during practices and games, keeping in mind that high school softball should remain fun.
7. Discipline players only when necessary, and never in front of the rest of the team.
